LKS Outfitters is Colorado’s largest public land outfitter operating 3 of the most well known outfits in the state. LKS guides in 7 elk/mule deer/black bear/moose units, 9 Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep unit, 5 mountain Goat units, and over 1 million acres to mountain lion hunt. These units vary from over-the-counter tags, easy draw, requiring a few preference points, and  all the way to 20 preference point trophy units for the various species. LKS Outfitters can guide for every big game species in Colorado with the exception of desert bighorns.  

LKS has 3 US Forest Service special use permits in the White River National Forest and San Isabel National Forest. Inside those forest lie the pristine Collegiate Peaks Wilderness Area, Buffalo Peaks Wilderness Area, Eagles Nest Wilderness Area, Mount Massive Wilderness Area, and Flat Tops Wilderness Area. Due to LKS operating in so many wilderness areas, horses and mules are used for just about every adventure. LKS Outfitters owns over 120 head of horses and mules. These horses/mules are used to access the 44 different wilderness camps that are used for drop camps, fully guided hunts, summer fishing trips, and pack trips.
